Harmony is built on the classic pairing of green tea and mint, a combination loved in both Moroccan and Chinese tea cultures for centuries. The base is gunpowder green tea (leaves rolled into tight, compact pellets that slowly unfurl in hot water to yield a vivid green infusion), enriched with fresh, lively peppermint, silky mallow and delicate rose petals. A clean, elegant composition — nothing superfluous, just three to four quality ingredients in perfect balance.
The story of gunpowder green tea
The name "gunpowder" refers to the shape: leaves are rolled — by hand or machine — into small, dense pellets that unfurl in hot water and release their full surface to the brew. This form has preserved green tea freshness for centuries, even more effectively than paper packaging. Gunpowder yields a characterful, lively, slightly smoky green tea that is bold yet round.
The role of mint
Peppermint (Mentha piperita) brings a refreshing, cooling sensation that perfectly balances green tea's slightly astringent, tannic character (tannins being the compounds that add a drying sensation). In Morocco, mint tea is a symbol of hospitality and relaxation — bunches of mint go into the teapot, sweetened with cane sugar or honey. In Harmony the proportions are set so that mint supports, but never overpowers, the green tea.
Mallow and rose — softness
Mallow flower (Malva sylvestris) lends a silky, almost smooth texture to the cup — a pleasing mouthfeel that softens any rough edge of the green tea. Rose petals add a lightly sweet, floral aroma, elegantly airing the blend. Purple and pink petals are visible in the dry tea, making it visually appealing too.
Flavour and aroma profile
The aroma is fresh, cooling and subtly floral. The first sip opens with cool mint brightness, followed by the green, gently tannic character of the tea. Mallow's silky texture softens the mid-palate, and rose leaves a gently sweet, floral whisper in the finish. Overall: fresh, clean, energising yet calming — truly harmony in a cup.

How to brew it
Use 2–3 grams of tea (a heaped teaspoon suffices given the density) per 200 ml of water at 70–80 °C, steeped for 3–4 minutes. Gunpowder is heat-sensitive — boiling water will turn it bitter. Let just-boiled water rest 2–3 minutes before pouring. Sweeten with honey or cane sugar (Moroccan style) if you wish, though it's also lovely plain. The same leaves can be re-infused 2–3 times.
The premium tin

Tips
Prepare Moroccan-style: in a small teapot, add 3–4 g of tea, pour a little hot water, wait 30 seconds and discard (this "wakes up" the leaves); then refill with fresh mint and hot water, steep 4 minutes, sweeten with cane sugar, and serve in small cups.
