A fuller handpan sound, even sitting on the floor
When you hold a handpan on your lap, clothing absorbs part of the sound and the lower shell cannot resonate freely. This soundplate solves exactly that: it holds the instrument on a very low profile, independent of your body, while the circular disc acts as a sound reflector, throwing the sound back into the room. You can enjoy the full sound spectrum of your handpan even when playing on the floor.
Three points, zero tension
The instrument rests on three points without pressure, so no resonance is choked by tension. The design fits all commercially available handpans, so you need not worry whether it will suit your instrument.
Who is the soundplate for?
Handpan players who like to play sitting on the floor, leaders of meditation and sound bath sessions, and anyone who wants to keep their instrument safely at home while staying ready to play. With the handpan on the plate, the playing height is approx. 30 cm.
Dimensions and portability
The plate has a diameter of approx. 34 cm, a height of 10 cm and a weight of only about 0.7 kg. Made in Germany. It fits easily next to a handpan bag, so you can take it to sessions and performances without any trouble.
