Handled singing bowl – Nada Yoga (variant 2)

Handled singing bowl Nada Yoga variant 2 with wooden mallet. Full, movable tone for home practice, yoga, meditation and breathing exercises daily.

What is the handled design good for?

The second variant of the Nada Yoga series has a handled design, so you can hold the bowl with one hand without needing to place it on a table. This gives great freedom: you can freely move the bowl to different points of the space, so the sound reaches you from different angles, which can especially help during attention practices or personal sound observation.

How to play it step by step?

You hold the bowl by the handle and the included wooden mallet in the other hand. Tapping the rim gently with the soft side gives a deep base tone that rings out long. Moving the mallet around the outer rim with steady motion makes the bowl sing, while you can move it through space and follow how the sound changes.

What do we recommend it for at home and in practice?

It is a good choice for opening or closing yoga practice, accompanying breathing exercises, starting meditation or personal sound observation. Many also use it for small group practice, where the movable bowl helps share the sound evenly. It also brings joy as a gift for a loved one already familiar with singing bowl practices.

How to store it when not in use?

Store the bowl in a horizontal, dry place, preferably on a soft textile, so the handle and the outer surface do not get scratched. Avoid draughty, very cold places and the close proximity of a radiator. On a shelf, the bowl with its handle becomes a decorative element in the room on its own.

What care does it need?

You can regularly wipe the surface with a soft, dry textile and occasionally with a slightly damp cloth, then dry it well. Avoid abrasive sponges and corrosive cleaners, as they may damage the handle joint and the bowl surface. With careful handling it will keep its clear, full tone for a long time.
