The symbolism of the lion
The lion has been a symbol of courage, royal dignity and protective strength for centuries. In Tibetan and Indian art it is often depicted with gentle yet firm features, which gives the motif a special character. On this greeting card the motif appears in golden yellow, deep burgundy, accompanying dark blue, worked out with fine details. You can choose such a card with confidence if you would like to send a thoughtful, paper-based message to your loved ones and appreciate the traditional, hand-written form.
Occasions to use it
The greeting card is equally suitable for a birthday, a name day, Christmas, Easter, a word of thanks, a friendly greeting, or a simple I am thinking of you message. A carefully chosen card with a few hand-written lines often means more than a quick phone message. The kind appearance of the motif makes the accompanying words memorable for the receiver.
Material and finish
The card is made from firm carton paper, so it keeps its form during postal delivery. The surface receives ink and ballpoint pen well, so you can comfortably write on it in print or in cursive. The inside is left blank, so the entire surface waits for your personal message.
How to accompany the handover
The greeting card is best handed over folded in an envelope so that the written message keeps the element of surprise. Placed next to a small flower, a ribbon or a thoughtful little gift, the greeting becomes an even kinder gesture. When sent by post, an inner protective sleeve is worth using so the corners do not get damaged on the way.
Storage and care
Until use keep the greeting card in a dry place protected from light, preferably in an envelope or a folder. This way the colours stay vivid and the paper does not warp from moisture. Keeping several cards together means a thoughtful piece is always at hand if you would like to greet someone unexpectedly from your home.
