350 ml is sized so you are not rationing one pot through a whole afternoon. One or two cups, freshly brewed, always taste better than a full jug gone lukewarm. If you drink green tea — and the pattern nudges you that way — a small pot is particularly worthwhile, because green tea is sensitive: in a large pot it often turns bitter or flat before you finish it.
Who is it for?
For people who like to live on the edge of minimalism and craft: the mosaic is interesting enough to catch the eye and restrained enough not to tire of. As a gift, it suits design-minded friends, relatives with an architectural or interior eye, and anyone who is especially fond of green.
Brewing tips
Rinse with hot water before first use. For green tea, 70-80 °C is ideal — if you pour from a boiler, let it cool 2-3 minutes first. Steep 2-3 minutes, then pour the pot empty. Leaving tea in the pot will make the next infusion bitter. It also suits oolong and white tea, and can be used for black, though the green-toned mosaic harmonises most beautifully with green tea.
Care and cleaning
Dishwasher-safe, but hand washing is gentler. Use a soft sponge and mild detergent. For tannin stains, soak briefly with a little baking soda — the mosaic surface will not be affected. Store dry with the lid set aside so the interior cannot turn damp.
