Green aventurine
Green aventurine is the greenish, translucent variety of quartz; its soft, silky shimmer comes from tiny embedded flakes of mica (aventurescence). In tradition it is known as a green stone of opportunity and the heart, regarded as a stone of luck and growth – a calm, balanced piece for a skincare routine.
How it is used
The larger head is for the broader areas of the face, the smaller for around the eyes and finer areas. Glide it over the skin with light pressure in outward and upward movements, for a few minutes a day. With a facial oil or serum the head rolls more smoothly.
Properties and size
The roller is about 14 cm long, with a metal frame and two green aventurine heads. As a natural stone, the green shade and veining vary from piece to piece – every one is unique.
Good to know and care
After use, wipe the heads with a soft, clean cloth and keep them in a dry place. The cooling effect can be enhanced by chilling the roller briefly in the fridge. Massage is a pleasant complement to relaxation and skincare, not a medical treatment.
