Three stones, one ancient form: amethyst, rock crystal and rose quartz together – the trio tradition calls the golden triangle. The little pouch makes a standalone ornament and a quiet focal point at home.
What is the golden triangle?
The golden triangle is a traditional trio of three stones – amethyst, rock crystal and rose quartz – usually arranged in a triangle in the living room. The number three and the triangle carry special meaning in many cultures: in the Christian Trinity, in the Buddhist unity of body, speech and mind, and in the ancient form of the pyramids. Tradition holds that the three stones together balance and refresh the mood of a space.
The three stones in tradition
Amethyst is known as a stone of calm and clarity. Rock crystal is regarded as the 'master crystal', a purifier of space and intention. Rose quartz is the stone of love and gentleness, linked to self-acceptance. Together they represent a trio of calm, clarity and warmth.
Good to know
The set contains three tumbled stones of about 3–4 cm in a decorative gold-toned organza pouch. As natural minerals, size, colour and shape vary from piece to piece – every stone is unique.
Placing and care
The three stones lend themselves to a triangle on a shelf, windowsill or meditation corner. Wipe them with a soft cloth; the colour of amethyst and rose quartz can fade over time in strong sunlight.
