A larger disc if you burn incense often or in larger quantities
The four centimetre diameter offers a slightly larger surface than the classic version, so it glows for longer and can hold bigger resin portions for you at the same time. If you often host family or friends' gatherings where you burn incense, we recommend this variant to you.
How to use it well
Place the tablet into a heat-resistant incense vessel on a layer of fine sand or ash. Hold a flame to the rim, and after a few seconds the glow starts with a sparking sound. Wait until the top is covered with a pale ash layer, then sprinkle a larger portion of resin or spice on it. Because of the surface size the smoke material evaporates evenly.
What we recommend it for
Frankincense, myrrh, amber and other granular resins really come into their own on this size. If you make your own incense blends and would like to glow a thicker layer, this tablet can hold it durably. Thanks to the thicker layer, the smoke becomes more even and longer-lasting for you.
Safety notes
Always use it in a heat-resistant vessel on a stable surface, away from children and pets. Place the spent tablet into a container filled with sand or ash until it is completely cool. Do not pour water on it, because the sudden temperature change may crack the vessel or the tablet itself.
How to store it to keep it flammable for long
Store the tablets in a sealed, dry place, in their original box or in a closed metal tin. Humidity makes them harder to ignite, so it is worth placing dried rice grains or a small moisture absorber sachet inside the box. This way they keep their properties for months.
