Golden: Attract Money Incense
This is the “Attract Money” incense from the Golden brand. According to the manufacturer, it is made from plant-based ingredients and fragrant oils, and it creates a pleasant Indian atmosphere. Supplied in a 15 g box; the sticks burn for about 50 minutes.
Indian incense is a traditional part of ceremonies and meditation. There are two main types:
- Dipped incense is usually black. Its base is charcoal powder: this charcoal paste is worked onto a bamboo stick, which is then dipped in synthetic oil.
- Masala incense takes its name from the word “masala”, which means a spice blend. Unlike dipped incense, it is not black but reddish or yellow. Its base is wood powder, kneaded together with fragrant oils, ground tree resin, herbs and spices. It contains no charcoal, and because of its better quality it is slightly more expensive than dipped incense.
