What is a glass teapot good for?

A glass teapot is the most beautiful way to enjoy your tea — not only by taste but also by sight. Loose-leaf teas, green teas and especially blooming teas become a visual delight as the leaves dance in the hot water. The built-in stainless steel strainer keeps leaf fragments out of your cup while leaving enough room for the tea to release its full aroma. Taste-neutral: flavours never cross over from previous brews.

Who is it for?

We warmly recommend it to anyone seeking a smaller pot for a solo morning ritual or an intimate tea for two. Perfect for loose-leaf enthusiasts, blooming-tea lovers, and anyone who enjoys the aesthetic side of brewing. A thoughtful gift for friends, mothers or colleagues who appreciate tea culture — on its own or paired with a selection of loose-leaf teas. Its compact size makes it office-friendly too.

Usage tips

For green tea use 70-80 °C water and steep for 2-3 minutes. Black tea brews at 90-95 °C for 3-5 minutes. Herbal, rooibos and fruit teas tolerate 100 °C for 5-8 minutes. For blooming tea, fill the pot with hot (90 °C) water, add the tea bulb and watch it unfurl — you can often re-steep 2-3 times. Insert the strainer first, add the loose tea, then pour hot water over it. Remove the strainer once the desired strength is reached to prevent over-steeping.

Storage and cleaning

Rinse with warm water after use — for most loose-leaf teas plain water does the job. For stubborn stains, mild detergent and a soft sponge are sufficient; avoid abrasive scourers as they may scratch the glass. Remove the strainer separately and brush it with a soft-bristled brush so the fine mesh does not clog. Store in a dry, dust-free place with the lid set aside to prevent condensation. Dry thoroughly before extended storage.
