Usage tips
For 800 ml: 2-3 teaspoons of loose tea in the strainer. Green 70-80 °C, 2-3 min. White 80 °C, 3-5 min. Oolong 85-90 °C, 3-5 min. Black 90-95 °C, 3-5 min. Herbal 100 °C, 5-8 min. Blooming tea at 90 °C unfurls in 3-5 minutes. The ribbed wall is a special bonus for blooming tea — as if the bulb opens inside a tiny „colonnade”. Lift the strainer out when the strength is right, so there's no bitter aftertaste.
Storage and cleaning
Rinse with warm water after use. The ribbed surface is slightly harder to clean than a smooth one — if tea residue settles into the grooves, a soft toothbrush with mild detergent works across the ribs. Please avoid abrasive scourers. Clean the strainer separately so the mesh doesn't clog. Store in a dry, dust-free place with the lid slightly ajar to let internal moisture escape.
