Usage tips
For 800 ml: 2-3 teaspoons of loose tea suggested. Green 70-80 °C, 2-3 min. White 80 °C, 3-5 min. Oolong 85-90 °C, 3-5 min. Black 90-95 °C, 3-5 min. Herbal 100 °C, 5-8 min. Blooming tea at 90 °C — the 800 ml provides room even for large bulbs, and the ribbed wall visually refracts the unfurling tea. Always pre-warm the pot with warm water before pouring in boiling water — the secret of gentle use. Lift the strainer out when steeping is done.
Storage and cleaning
The decorative and ribbed surface demands more attention in cleaning. Warm water and a soft sponge are usually enough. For stubborn tannin marks, mild detergent and a soft-bristled toothbrush can help reach between the ribs and decorations. Never use abrasive scourers, metal brushes or scouring powder, as these can scratch the glass and the decoration. Remove the strainer separately and brush it. Store dry, with the lid off, so internal moisture can evaporate.
