Usage tips
Pour warm water into the pot a minute before use so it acclimatises to the heat. Always add hot water that has been freshly brought to a boil. Lift the strainer out when the steeping is done — that's how you avoid a bitter aftertaste. Tip: a good-quality loose-leaf tea can be re-steeped 2-3 times in the same session.
Storage and cleaning
Hand-wash with warm water and a soft sponge — enough for most tea residue. For stronger tannin stains, a drop of mild detergent and circular motions help.
