A small glass bottle filled with deep black tumbled tourmaline, finished with a brass Tree of Life charm. It comes on a cord, so it can be worn as a pendant or set near an entrance or on a shelf as a small amulet.
About black tourmaline
Black tourmaline (mineralogically known as schorl) is a complex boron silicate with a deep black colour and often a finely fibrous, lengthwise-striated surface. With a Mohs hardness of around 7 to 7.5, it is a durable, very wearable stone.
Crystal tradition knows it as a stone of grounding and protection; many speak of it as a stone of composure and steady presence. This is tradition, not a medical promise.
The Tree of Life
The Tree of Life is an ancient motif of spreading branches and roots that appears in the mythology of many cultures. It is a symbol of strength, growth and the linking of generations – beside the calm seriousness of the black stone it carries on the idea of roots and perseverance.
Wearing it and at home
Worn on its cord the light bottle is an understated yet characterful piece. It makes a fine gift for someone seeking stability and a sense of grounding. At home it looks good near a doorway or on a desk.
Good to know
Tourmaline is a durable stone, but protect the glass from drops. Wipe it with a soft cloth and keep it away from prolonged moisture. Each piece is unique: the size and surface of the stones vary a little.
