Gemstone Tree – Tiger's Eye

Tabletop gemstone tree with tiger's eye chips and copper wire branches. Golden-brown home accent, approximately 9-10 cm tall. Durable build. Lovely finish.

The golden-brown silk of tiger's eye

Tiger's eye is a fibrous quartz variety known for its silky, undulating shimmer – a phenomenon called the cat's-eye effect. Its colour combines golden-brown, honey-yellow, and darker chestnut bands. On this gemstone tree the small tiger's eye chips show their shimmer beautifully under light. We recommend it to you because the warm brown tones suit more classic interior spaces well.

Handcraft

The trunk and branches are made of copper wire, hand-twisted and bent by the makers. Small tiger's eye chips are attached at the branch tips where light plays nicely on the stones. The base is solid. As tiger's eye is a natural mineral, the brown tones and shimmer direction vary slightly between pieces.

Where it looks lovely

The warm brown looks beautiful on dark-wood shelves, next to classic-bound books, or on a working desk. As a gift it suits people who love warm, earthy tones or classic decorations.

Size and weight

The tree is approximately 9-10 centimetres tall with a base around 4-5 centimetres wide. It weighs only a few dozen grams.

Care guidance

Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth against dust. Avoid water and cleaning chemicals. Tiger's eye tolerates light relatively well, but long direct sunlight is still better avoided to protect both the stones and the copper wire together. Keep it away from strong heaters and humid rooms so the copper-wire surface does not become dull. When moving the piece, always hold it by the solid base, never the branches, so the small stone chips do not loosen. If one stone should come off, you can re-fix it carefully with a small drop of glue.
