Hardly two of the 200 small polished stones on this tree share a colour. The trunk is twisted gold-coloured wire, and warm LED lights shine between the colourful stones. A glass dome covers it all, with coloured stone chips at the foot of the tree and a round dark brown base below. Made in India.
Six colours on one tree
The stones are pink, purple, blue, green, yellow and orange minerals. Which stone goes where is decided as each tree is made, so the colours on yours will fall a little differently from the photo.
In the evening, with the LEDs on, the light shines through the paler stones while the darker ones glint. The same tree looks different by day and by night.
If you do not know their favourite stone
If it is a present and you do not know which stone the recipient likes best, you cannot go wrong with the mixed tree. With so many colours it brightens a living room or a colourful corner.
It is worth adding a USB cable to the gift so the recipient can use the lights straight away. And if you already have a single-stone tree, this one makes a more colourful companion for it.
Power, size and care
The socket for the USB cable is on the front of the base. No cable is included, so you will need to get one, and it is worth checking the shape of the socket first. The tree is 24.5 cm tall and 16 cm wide, and the glass dome brings it to about 1.2 kg.
Under the dome the stones stay free of dust; just wipe the glass with a soft cloth now and then. Carry the tree by its base, not by the small glass knob on top of the dome.
