Growing
Sow in February–March into seed trays. Transplant in late May. Plant spacing 50 cm, row spacing 50 cm.
Fruits ripen red in August. Uses: roasted kapia, stuffed pepper, tomato sauce, ajvar, lecsó. The foundation of Balkan cuisine — essential for home-made ajvar.
