Sound and character
The medium frog sound figure produces a slightly lighter, thinner croak than its larger sibling, but it remains very lifelike. Stroke the mallet with a gentle rotating motion along the back towards the head and a clear "quaak-quaak" rings out. Hold one side of the mouth closed with your finger and the tone colour shifts, opening up new musical characters to explore.
How to use
The medium size is a wonderful compromise: it fits comfortably in a child's hand, yet has a serious, full voice. It works well in sound stories, children's and family sessions and sound collections. Both teachers and sound therapists like it because it is at once playful and inspiring.
Why this product
If you already own the large frog, the medium size adds a second voice to the duet — two different pitches together create a much richer picture. If you are just discovering sound figures, this size also stands strong on its own.
Care tips
- Move the mallet calmly and evenly along the back — slow strokes work just as well as fast ones
- Experiment with partially closing the mouth and listen to how the timbre changes
- Store away from direct sunlight and heat sources so the rubber stays elastic
