Sound and character
Grips and ferrules do not shape the tone directly, but they are the precondition for free vibration and stable mounting of the instrument. When the monochord sits safely in the high stand or on its own feet, the resonance can fully unfold and energy is not lost into other surfaces.
How to use
This accessory set lets you mount the large monochord securely in the ST-MO-1K high stand, or fit feet retrospectively to the end faces of the instrument. The set is already standard equipment on the MO-46GK, MO-54T and MO-60O models, and is offered as a special accessory for MO-30K and MO-30P.
Why this product
If you are expanding your practice and want to use your monochord in new situations — for example in group sessions or while standing — these grips and ferrules open the path to retrofitting the high stand or the feet. They are original Feeltone parts, so the dimensions and the fine fittings match precisely.
Care tips
- Try the assembly dry first before fixing anything permanently
- The brass parts may take on a matt patina over time — this is a natural process
- Treat the grips as you would any wooden part: avoid prolonged moisture and direct heat
