About rose quartz
Rose quartz is the pink variety of quartz, its colour given by traces of titanium, iron or manganese; its Mohs hardness is about 7. In crystal lore it is known as a stone of love and tenderness, traditionally linked to the heart chakra, the centre of connection and self-acceptance.
