A harmonic, gentle tone that sounds at the slightest breeze: this feng shui gong wind chime is built around a 12 cm gong disc and gives a soft, pleasant ring. The clean 70 cm form looks lovely in the garden, on a terrace or on an airy porch.
The feng shui tradition
Feng shui is a several-thousand-year-old Chinese outlook on how our surroundings affect our well-being, and on how harmony and balance can be created in a space. Tradition associates soft, melodic sounds with a bright, balanced atmosphere — which is why a wind chime is a common feature of feng-shui-minded homes and gardens.
Sound and finish
The voice of the gong disc is warm and resonant, yet never intrusive; it simply marks the presence of the wind. The design is simple and harmonious, so it suits many kinds of setting.
Where it fits
An airy spot sheltered from storms where it catches the breeze. Near an entrance, on a terrace or in a garden retreat it makes an especially lovely companion.
Good to know
Keep the metal surface clean with a dry cloth; protect it from prolonged, heavy rain.
As a gift
With its clean form and pleasant tone it makes a thoughtful present: for a new home, to dress up a garden or terrace, or for anyone who loves calm, harmonious spaces. The gong chime calls up a slightly different gentle tone with every movement of the wind, so it never grows monotonous.
