Sound and character
The mini felt ring is made for the smallest singing bowls and offers exactly as much bearing surface as is needed to keep the bowl stable. Its small size lets the bowl's vibration unfold fully and keeps the overtones from being damped. It provides a quiet, refined base for meditative work.
How to use
Place the mini bowl (TK-200 or TK-300 series) in the centre of the ring. The rim should not overhang. The ring can be set on a table, a low riser, or — for more sensitive use — on a textile resting on the client's body. The bowls can be both struck and sung on the ring.
Why this product
Mini singing bowls are especially sensitive to the size of their support: with this 4 cm version the bowl sits stably while the overtones develop freely. The right-sized ring is especially important in therapeutic and meditative work, where clarity of tone matters.
Care tips
- Always set it on a flat, dry surface.
- If you work with several mini bowls, keep more than one ring in your kit.
- Protect the felt from moisture and chemicals.
- Brush the surface after long use to remove dust.
