A pack of 3 small decorative vases made of soft felt, each about 18 x 13 cm and about 46 g. They are made by hand in Nepal using traditional methods. The vase comes in three colourways, each in two colours with a gently tapered shape. Which colourways go into a pack, and how many of each, varies from pack to pack, and they can't be chosen individually.
For felt and dried flowers
The vases are not watertight, so please don't fill them with water or use them for fresh cut flowers. Felt flowers, a few dried stems or light artificial flowers stand well in them. They don't wilt either, so the bunch needs no care beyond an occasional dusting.
As the vase is light, don't put a heavy bunch with long stems in it, or it may tip over. A few sprigs of lavender, gypsophila or dried grasses suit it well. If you fill it with felt flowers, a stem or two of felt lily for example, the whole piece stays soft and light.
You can stand the 3 vases side by side on a shelf, or spread them around the house. Give one away with a stem or two of felt flowers, and you have a ready gift that needs no water and no hurry.
Where a glass vase would be at risk
It fits in a small space: the corner of a desk, a windowsill or between books. Being felt, it won't break if it tips over. So you can put it where a glass or ceramic vase would be in danger, for example where the cat likes to walk, or on a shelf in a child's room.
Every vase is a little different
Because each vase is handmade, the colours, texture and shape vary slightly, so yours will not look exactly like the photo. Dust them with a soft brush or a dry cloth. If one got a little squashed in transit, ease it back into shape by hand.
