A pack of 12 felt figures, each with a hanging loop on top. Each figure is about 11 cm tall, 4 cm wide and 3 cm deep. They are felted by hand in Nepal in the traditional way.
Hedgehogs and long-eared characters
The pack has colourful long-eared characters with big, funny faces, and hedgehogs whose backs are made of fuzzy, curly felt. In the photo the long-eared ones wear wide, toothy grins, and the hedgehogs are brown, grey and black.
How many of each you get varies from pack to pack, and they can't be chosen individually. Their colours and faces may differ from the photo, and no two are exactly alike.
For bag handles and key rings
Pass the loop around the handle of a handbag, the strap of a tote or a key ring, then push the figure through it. It is light, so it won't drag the handle down. If you take a different bag in the morning, the hedgehog moves across in a second. Small as it is, it can also go on the zip pull of a purse.
On a bunch of keys it is especially handy. At the bottom of a bag you can find the soft figure by touch, and your keys come with it. With 12 in the pack, there are enough for colleagues too, left on their desks as a small surprise or tied to the ribbon of a present.
If the spines get flattened
They are made for decoration and are not toys. Wipe off dust with a dry cloth. Keep them away from water, as the felt can lose its shape and the curly spines may mat together. If the spines get flattened in a bag, fluff them up gently with your fingers.
