A pack of 10 small felt figures, a mix of animals. Each figure is about 13 cm tall, 7.5 cm wide and 4 cm deep. They are felted by hand in Nepal in the traditional way. The fibres are worked wet until they form firm felt, then the clothes and face are stitched on. That is why every face and every seam comes out a little different. Each has a hanging loop on top.
Assorted animals, each in its own outfit
Every figure has its own outfit and expression; the photo shows bunnies, bears and cats. How often each animal appears among the 10 varies from pack to pack, and two of them may turn out alike. They can't be chosen individually, and their colours and outfits may differ from the ones in the picture.
Putting one on your bag
Pass the loop around the bag handle or a backpack strap, push the figure through the loop and pull it snug. It goes onto a key ring or the ribbon of a gift the same way, and comes off just as easily when you want to move it to another bag.
On a dark, plain bag the bright little animal stands out from a distance. If your family has several backpacks or suitcases that look alike, the 10 figures are enough for one on each, and everyone finds their own sooner. Keep the rest as small gifts, tied to a birthday card or around a book.
Decorations, not toys
The figures are made for decoration, so please don't give them as toys. Felt does not like water: brush off dust with a soft brush or a dry cloth, and keep them out of the washing machine, or they may lose their shape.
