Sound and character
The small Therapy set offers the same three-layered, balanced sound profile as its larger sibling, in a more compact format. The Balance bowl provides the fine, high overtones, the Essence 20 brings a warm mid-range, and the Fundamental 26 delivers a full, carrying base tone. The Feeltone workshop does not tune the bowls to specific frequencies; they are hand-selected to form pleasant, harmonising intervals. Together, the three bowls create a unified yet layered sound space.
How to use
- Sound massage with the bowls placed directly on or next to the body
- Personal meditation and relaxation practice
- Therapy sessions in smaller spaces where portability matters
- Learning and practising sound therapy
- Mobile practitioners who travel to clients
Why this product
If you are just beginning to explore sound therapy, or you often transport your instruments, this small set is an ideal choice. It contains everything you need for full sound work — three harmonising bowls and the accessories required to use them — while remaining compact and easy to handle. The Feeltone workshop guarantees that the bowls work well together, so the set delivers a unified sound from the very first session.
Care tips
- Always use the included felt rings as a base so the bowl can vibrate freely
- Hold the mallet loosely and avoid hard, forceful strikes
- For sound massage, start with the deep Fundamental and gradually move up to the higher bowls
- Never eat or drink from the bowls — the rim may have sharp edges
- Store in a dry, dust-free place, ideally in a fabric bag or box
About Feeltone
Feeltone is a craft instrument workshop based in Lassan, northern Germany, founded by Ingo Böhme. For over two decades they have built monochords, sound beds, sound chairs and ceremonial drums for therapists, sound artists and meditation practitioners. Every instrument is hand-built from certified sustainably sourced woods and finished with natural treatments such as hard-wax oil.
