Sound and character
Cherry wood is a warm, reddish-brown, fine-grained noble wood that develops a beautiful patina over the years. The extension is a structural accessory with no acoustic effect, yet it fits perfectly into the intimate, natural feel of a sound massage room. It offers a stable surface for sound bowls so they sound quietly, without extraneous noise.
How to use
The extension attaches to the foot end of the table with a simple screw fitting. It serves two practical purposes: it provides full-length lying surface for particularly tall clients, and it offers a platform for additional sound bowls during the sound massage. Sound bath facilitators and sound massage practitioners like it because no separate side table is needed for the accompanying instruments.
Why this product
Cherry wood is not only attractive but also durable, standing up well to daily use. Crafted by hand in the German workshop, the extension fits the Feeltone sound massage table precisely. The biological hard-wax oil treatment highlights the wood's natural character while protecting against wear.
Care tips
- Follow the workshop guide for assembly; do not force the screws.
- Check the seating of the screws annually and re-tighten if needed.
- Clean the surface with a damp cloth, without aggressive detergents.
- Apply a thin layer of hard-wax oil every 1-2 years.
- Protect from prolonged sunlight to preserve the cherry wood's deep colour.
