A hand-painted enamelled wooden bowl in a stylised leaf shape
This bowl takes the shape of a stylised leaf, so its silhouette alone turns the eye to nature. The base is hand-carved mango wood, which is then finished with colourful enamel paint — you receive a piece with strong character that still sits gently in the room. Its calm lines work just as well in a modern interior as in a classic one.
How you can use it
Fill it with dried fruit, small biscuits or nuts on the table, or use it as a display piece on a shelf with pine cones, pebbles or a small candle. By the front door it keeps keys, coins and reading glasses tidy. Thanks to its sculpted form it also looks beautiful empty, simply showing off the natural wood grain.
Material and craftsmanship
The body is made from natural mango wood with a colourful enamel finish. Because every piece is carved and painted by hand, small differences in colour depth, grain pattern and brushwork are normal — these are exactly what make your bowl one of a kind. Mango wood is a fast-renewing species that Indian woodworkers have used for this purpose for generations.
Care
Wipe with a slightly damp, soft cloth and dry immediately — do not soak the bowl or put it in the dishwasher, and avoid strong cleaning products. If you serve food in it, use a small food-safe paper or fabric liner.
