The meaning of the Tree of Life
The Tree of Life is an ancient motif of a tree spreading its branches and roots, appearing in the mythology and art of many cultures. Tradition knows it as a symbol of life, growth and the linking of generations, of strength and of roots. Its calm green tone brings a nature-close, grounding feel.
Material and finish
The candle is made from clean-burning, 100% plant-based stearin with a cotton wick. Its sage green tone brings a soft, atmospheric colour to a space and shows off the embossed design. It is a hand-poured, artisan piece.
Handmade and Fair Trade
It is made in Indonesia by a WFTO-certified fair trade workshop. Production is intentionally manual to provide work for as many people as possible, and the packaging is made from recyclable materials.
Safe use
Do not place it in a draught. Trim the wick to about 1 cm before lighting. Stand it in a suitable holder on a heat-resistant surface. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from children and pets.
