A colourful elephant, a calm mood
We made this turquoise elephant burner for those of you who like a touch of colour alongside the scent. The bright yet cool turquoise works with wooden furniture, white walls, or a more colourful child’s room. Many feel that small figures like this make a home friendlier on the coldest winter evenings.
Size, weight, material
The burner is about 12 cm long, 9 cm tall and weighs around 335 g. It is fired ceramic with a turquoise glaze. The body is heavy and stands stably, with a smooth base. The shaped dish on top is large enough for a wax cube, or for a tablespoon of water with a few drops of essential oil.
Using it with wax melts
Place a wax melt in the dish on the elephant’s back. Light a tea light below. The flame gradually melts the wax, and within 5-10 minutes the gentle scent reaches the far corners of the room.
Using it with essential oils
If you prefer essential oils, add about 1 tablespoon of water to the dish and drop in 3-4 drops of oil. The water slowly warms, and the scent rises with the steam. For a calming evening, lavender or Roman chamomile is a good choice; for freshening, lemon or peppermint.
Safety, cleaning, care
It warms up during use, so never move it with a lit flame, and never leave it unattended near children or pets. Avoid draughty spots. After use, wait for it to cool before cleaning: lift wax residue with the back of a spoon, and wash the dish in lukewarm soapy water with a soft cloth.
