A wooden crasher - quiet and loud alike
Most crashers on the market are built from metal sheets and only deliver short, hard, cutting sounds. The DynaCrasher takes a different approach: it is built from wooden panels with a snare carpet on a solid wood carrier. Played quietly with your hands, it instantly produces gentle snare and sizzle sounds; struck with sticks at higher volumes, it delivers penetrating crasher sounds - ideal for drum set groove arrangements.
You set the sustain
Two adjustment screws let you control how long the buzz and crash ring out. The same tool therefore works for quiet accompaniment and for powerful accents. Play it with hands, sticks, rods or brushes - each brings out a different character.
Velcro fastening
This version (DC280) attaches with Velcro to any flat surface, for example the side of a cajon or a tabletop. The number refers to the length: the unit measures 28 x 6 x 5 cm. Although made of wood, the playing surface is extremely durable.
Who is it for?
Cajon players, drummers and any percussionist looking for a new, distinctive sound. If you enjoy fine transitions between quiet and loud playing, you will get a lot out of this instrument. Made in Germany.
