From quiet sizzle to cutting crash
What makes the DynaCrasher special is its wide dynamic range. Most similar crash effects are built from metal sheets and only deliver short, hard, cutting sounds. Here the approach is different: wooden panels with a snare carpet are mounted on a solid wood carrier. Played quietly by hand you get a delicate sizzling, snare-like sound; played with sticks at higher volumes it produces a penetrating crash - ideal alongside a drum set groove.
You decide how long it rings
Two adjustment screws let you control how long the buzz and crash sustain. You can tailor the instrument to your own taste and the musical situation - from a short, tight response to a longer ring-out.
Mountable version for drummers and percussionists
This mountable version attaches via the manufacturer's woodblock mount to any standard percussion rod with a diameter of 9-10 mm, so it slots comfortably into a drum set or percussion rack. It can be played with hands, sticks, rods or brushes, making it useful in many musical settings.
Material, size, durability
The carrier is made of solid wood, and the playing surface is designed to be extremely durable, standing up well to intensive use. The instrument measures 28 × 13.5 × 4 cm and weighs approximately 0.55 kg. Made in Germany with decades of percussion-building experience.
