Sound and character
The 30 cm beech frame is the smallest in the range — laced with a hide, it produces a notably high, ringing, clearly articulated drum voice. Excellent for fine rhythmic playing, for children, or for ceremonies where you need a small, easy-to-handle instrument.
How to use
This size is the perfect base for a small shamanic or frame drum that fits comfortably in the hand. The frame is untreated, so you can give it your own character through oiling, painting or carving. Despite the thin walls, the four-layer construction provides a stable sound chamber.
Why this product
A small, light, yet professional-grade drum frame. Ideal if this is your first build, or if you travel often with your instrument. Feeltone's build quality means the frame will not warp over time.
Care tips
- The surface is rough — wear gloves while working.
- Lightly sand the contact edge before lacing the hide.
- Oiling improves both appearance and durability.
