This smaller dreamcatcher pairs the tree of life motif with the deep, earthy tone of black jasper, with softly swaying feathers. An intimate, handcrafted accent that brings a nature-close, dreamy mood to a bedroom or a quiet corner.
The dreamcatcher tradition
According to the traditions of the Indigenous peoples of North America, the night air is filled with dreams – both good and bad. A dreamcatcher hung above or beside the bed is believed to filter them: good dreams slip through the web and glide down the feathers to the sleeper, while bad dreams tangle in the threads and fade with the first light of day.
Black Jasper – within tradition
Black jasper is a dense, deep-coloured chalcedony with a smooth polished surface. Tradition knows it as a stone of grounding and stability, a calming, anchoring accent.
The tree of life motif
The tree of life at the centre of the web is an ancient motif, spreading its branches and roots across the art of many cultures. Tradition knows it as a symbol of life, growth and the connection of the generations.
