Dragon's blood resin incense — an ancient scent
Dragon's blood is not animal in origin; it is the dried red resin of Daemonorops and Dracaena trees. Various cultures have used it for thousands of years in rituals, incense and as a natural dye. Its scent is deep, warmly sweet and gently balsamic. The 90-gram amount comes in a small plastic pot, with easy-to-dose granules.
The ingredients — transparently
The incense is made of frankincense resin and dragon's blood essential oil. The selected note refers to careful grading of the granule size and purity. There are no synthetic fragrances inside, only natural resin and oil — you receive a traditional, clean recipe.
How you can use it
Burn the resin on a charcoal disc or on the sieve of a dedicated incense burner. On the sieve the burning is slower than on charcoal, so the scent unfolds over a longer time. You may combine it with other resins; for that, choose a slightly larger burner. A 125 mm sieve also fits our aroma oil burners once you remove the top cup.
When to light it
For many people, the scent of dragon's blood evokes boundary-keeping, protection and a warm, inward-turning home. It suits quiet evenings, a meditation corner, journaling, yoga or simply a calm bedtime ritual. In the Christmas season its balsamic, deep notes are particularly inviting.
Safety and care tips
Never leave burning charcoal or resin unattended. Place the incense burner on a stable, heat-resistant surface, out of reach of children and pets. Air the room after use. The 90-gram pot lasts a long time — a generous serving size for daily practice. The package contains one pot.
