Dragonblood resin comes from the Daemonorops draco palm tree, which grows in the swamps of Asia, Africa and Australia. Its deep dark-red colour gave it the name 'dragon's blood'. You receive a 5 piece pack with around 21 g of resin per tube.
What exactly you receive
Five cardboard tubes, each containing around 21 g of purely natural Dragonblood resin, for a total of about 105 g. The cardboard tubes keep the resin dry so its fragrance is preserved for a long time.
Traditional use
Traditionally Dragonblood is associated with qualities of protection and offering. Many people use it for altar rituals, longer quiet meditation, and, mixed with Sandalwood, Cedar or Labdanum, for richer sensory blends.
How to use on charcoal
Place a charcoal tablet in a heat-resistant dish, light it, and wait until a thin white ash layer forms. Then sprinkle a small amount of Dragonblood resin on top. Its fragrance is deep and balsamic.
On a sieve burner
On a sieve burner the burn is slower, so the intense Dragonblood scent stays in the room for longer and feels less sharp.
Origin and distribution
The raw material is sourced from Southeast Asia, and a reliable source supplies the 5 piece cardboard tube packaging from Germany. You can order it as a single unit of 5 pcs.
Safety
Burn on a heat-resistant surface in a well-ventilated room. Never leave the ember unattended, and keep it away from children and pets.
