What makes a seven-piece set special?
This set contains seven crystal sound bowls and offers the full seven-tone series for a sound bath experience. The chakra set 1 (7 bowls) setup is one of the classic, well-tested arrangements: each bowl sounds at a different pitch, so together they create a complete, harmonic sound space. The tuning is at 432 Hz – a slightly slower, warmer fundamental that many of our sound-therapy customers actively look for.
How is a quartz bowl made?
The bowls are produced by melting purified quartz sand at high temperature into a cylindrical form. Quartz is used for this purpose because it produces an even, long-lasting vibration, which is why it is found in sound studios and therapy settings. Each bowl is tuned individually and the fundamental tone is checked by hand before it is added to the set.
What can you use the set for?
The most common use is a sound bath: the guest (or you) lies down on a mat and the bowls are played around them. Seven bowls together can fill a 30-45 minute session with varied sound. At home you can also use it for your own quietening – even playing just one or two bowls at a time gives a strong effect. Studio, yoga or massage room owners use the full set as background sound during their work.
What is in the package?
The package contains the 7 bowls (in the chakra set 1 (7 bowls) arrangement) and one mallet per bowl. Carrying bags are sold separately – this is helpful, because you can choose simpler textile bags or more padded ones depending on your needs. Expect about 2.5-4 kg per bowl, which is worth keeping in mind for transport.
What to keep in mind on arrival and in use?
The bowls are made of crystal and are therefore fragile. Always place them on a wooden or silicone-ring mat, and never stack them. Avoid all impacts, as even a hairline crack changes the sound. For cleaning a dry or slightly damp soft cloth is enough – detergent is not needed. The set comes from India and is hand-tuned, so small tuning differences between batches are natural and not faults.
