How is it different from the smaller bagged version?
This version has a larger diameter, so it delivers a more sustained vibration. If you have tried the smaller bagged C# crystal bowl and want a fuller, longer tone, this is the one to choose.
What does the 432 Hz tuning offer?
The 432 Hz tuning is softer and more natural than the 440 Hz standard, according to many of our meditation customers. The C# note is half a tone higher than the C base, gives a more ringing tone, and is linked to the upper chakras by tradition.
How does the bag perform during transport?
The padded bag's soft lining absorbs impacts, and the handle gives comfortable carrying. You can carry it on your shoulder or by hand, even on public transport, if the bag goes to an enclosed, stable resting place.
How do you use it during practice?
Place the bowl on a soft mat and circle the mallet slowly around the rim. Because of the larger size, use longer circling motions so the sound fully unfolds. It resonates best in spacious rooms. The larger diameter C# bagged version takes up more space, so plan its place at home in advance. Placing the bag on a ventilated shelf, let it stick out a bit so the handle does not deform. Also store the mallet in a separate pouch.
Who do we recommend it to?
We recommend it to you if you are a sound therapist with a busy schedule and want a tool that delivers a high, ringing, yet sustained tone and is transportable with a bag. We recommend the larger bagged C# version mainly to those who, alongside a practice room, also provide a house-call service. Make sure the bag always waits in a dry, clean place between trips. Before longer storage, air it out so no musty odour develops inside.
