Why is the C note crystal bowl special?
The C base note is linked to the root chakra and, by tradition, supports feelings of safety and grounding. The 432 Hz tuning is a favourite among many of our meditation customers because it delivers a softer, more natural tone than the 440 Hz standard. This larger size version holds the vibration longer, so the sound lingers in the room.
What is it made of and what to watch for?
The bowl is melted from pure quartz sand, with a white matte surface. The material is dense, providing a stable sound. Place it on a smooth, non-slip mat so the vibration can travel freely. Run the included mallet slowly around the rim to start the sound, and notice how it builds.
How to use it for a home sound bath?
Sit comfortably and place the bowl in front of you or on a soft cushion. Move the mallet in slow circular motions and let the sound fill the room. Many of our customers use it for morning attunement or evening wind-down. A 10–20 minute session is plenty.
How to store and clean it?
Crystal is fragile, so keep it in a box lined with soft cloth. For dust, wipe with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth. Do not use chemicals. If dropped, the bowl may crack, so use it on a stable surface.
Who do we recommend it to?
We recommend it to you if you practice home yoga or meditation and look for a tool that supports breath slowing and relaxation. Sound therapists also often choose it because the larger diameter bowl delivers a lasting, deep tone. This version fits comfortably in a home space, yet has enough diameter to bring along to group meditation as well. Because of the grounding character of the C base note, many choose it for morning attunement, as it gently lifts attention into the new day. You should check the bowl regularly with a soft cloth to maintain its surface.
