The pink striped yoga bag
This bag is cut from strong, densely woven cotton and patterned with pink stripes on a white background. The zipper opens at length, so you slip your mat in or out with a single movement. The Nepali handwork gives the bag a simple, durable cut that faithfully accompanies you between home and the yoga studio.
Capacity and contents
The bag is 67 centimetres long and 24 centimetres wide. A standard yoga mat fits inside comfortably, and if you roll it up tightly, two mats will also fit. You can add a yoga block, a strap, a small blanket or a water bottle, and everything stays together during the class and the journey home.
Material and look
Cotton is a natural fibre that breathes and does not seal moisture against the mat. The pink stripes run along the entire side of the bag and stand out vividly against the white background. The striped pattern stays even after washing, so you will continue to enjoy the bright pink for years.
How to use it
At the end of the class, roll up your mat, open the zipper and slide the mat in. The strap is long enough for shoulder carrying, so your hands stay free for another bag, a bicycle or a child's hand. In cold weather the strap also slides over a winter coat.
Cleaning and storage
Keep the bag clean with hand washing or a gentle machine cycle. Wash it in cold or lukewarm water and air dry it, so the colour of the pink stripes does not fade. Do not iron the zipper, and turn the strap from time to time so the stitching wears evenly.
