The 140 × 210 cm size fits comfortably on a single bed (90–100 cm wide), draping nicely down both sides. It can also be used on a 140 cm French bed, where it covers just the top without hanging over the sides. For a 160–180 cm double bed, it is better to look for the Double size (235 × 210 cm) variant.

How should I hang it as a wall piece?

The most common approach is a simple curtain rod or wooden pole: fold over the top edge, sew it down a few centimetres in to make a sleeve, and slide the rod through. This is stable, and the textile's weight is carried by the two wall brackets. Alternatively, it can be hung with adhesive wall hooks or ceramic clips — the 0.38 kg of cotton is not heavy and does not require special fixings.

The cotton spread can be machine-washed; the first few washes at 30 °C with similar colours are recommended — hand-coloured Indian textiles may release a small amount of dye in the first washes. Rather than using a tumble dryer, lay it out in the shade to keep the colour rich for a long time. Ironing is allowed on a medium setting.
