Six simple mats that make the morning calmer
A beautiful table deserves not to receive water rings. These cork coasters are made exactly for that: offered as a set of six so that the whole family or a guest welcoming table is protected at once. The round mats are light, made of a natural material and serve well next to both hot and cold drinks.
Cork that gives real protection
Cork is a natural insulator: between the base of a hot mug and the table top it noticeably slows the transfer of heat, so the wooden or lacquered surface does not receive strong warmth, and the marble or glass does not receive cold glasses. For you this means you can confidently place tea, coffee and a glass of water on them. The surface has a soft touch yet is durable, it does not break if it falls to the floor.
Flower of Life pattern, a gentle decoration
Each of the six coasters carries a burned Flower of Life pattern. This is an ancient geometric sign, which many regard as a symbol of central calm and harmony. Because of the burning technique the pattern is not painted, does not peel, so it remains after wiping and washing. The decoration is gentle, so it looks good next to a modern, a classic and a rustic table alike.
Everyday use and serving
In the morning it gives a sure place to your coffee mug, in the afternoon to your teacup, in the evening to a glass of water. When guests arrive you can lay out six at once, and they do not need to keep moving their glasses. It is a warm choice for a Christmas table, a birthday breakfast or a calm Sunday afternoon coffee alike.
Care and storage
Wipe the coasters with a slightly damp cloth, do not soak them long in water and do not put them in a dishwasher. In a cool, dry place, stacked on top of each other, they fit well in a kitchen drawer. Over the years the cork gains a gentle shade from use, and the Flower of Life pattern also matures more beautifully.
