A laser-engraved lotus opens across the body of this cup – the image of a flower rising from murk toward the light. The fine drawing and the warm glow of copper give the 350 ml tumbler a calm, uplifted mood.
The meaning of the lotus
The lotus rises from the mud above the water to open a clean flower – a recurring motif in Eastern art and religions. Tradition knows it as a symbol of purity and of spiritual unfolding.
Copper and Ayurveda
In Ayurvedic tradition, water rested in copper has long been valued and seen as a support for inner balance. This cup is an everyday form of that idea.
