A warm-toned water bottle made of 99.9% pure copper, with a distinctive, hand-hammered finish. The fine, faceted dimples break up the light, so the bottle catches a different glint with every movement – giving a handcrafted character to an everyday drinking vessel.
Copper in the Ayurvedic tradition
Copper has been used as a drinking-vessel material in India for more than two thousand years. According to Ayurveda, the ancient tradition of India, water stored in a copper vessel supports the balance of the three energies circulating in the body – the doshas (Vata: air, Kapha: water, Pitta: fire). This is a traditional view, not a medical fact; the bottle is, above all, a beautiful, durable drinking vessel.
The hammered finish
The hand-hammered texture is more than decorative: it makes each bottle slightly unique and pleasant to hold. The dimples bring a gentle play of shadow and shine to the warm copper. As the hammering is done by hand, small variations are natural.
Material and use
The bottle is made of 99.9% pure copper; polished and lacquered on the outside, polished inside. Its capacity is 500 ml. Use it for cold water only – it is not suitable for milk, citrus or acidic liquids. Because copper conducts heat, do not fill it with hot liquid, so you do not burn your hands.
Care
The copper surface may patina naturally over time; it can be freshened with a soft cloth, and if needed with a lemon-and-salt method. Rinse with clean water before and after filling.
Good to know
Recommended for cold drinking water only. Keep it dry if it is not in use for a longer period.
