A colourful number 0 cut from MDF. It is 15 cm tall, 8 cm wide and 8 mm thick, and each piece weighs about 52 g. Made in Indonesia.
You get a pack of 6 zeros in assorted colours. Colours vary from pack to pack and cannot be chosen one by one, so yours may differ from the picture.
A zero for every round year
Every round birthday and anniversary needs a 0, the 10th just as much as the 40th or the 50th. A 100th needs two and a year like 2000 needs three, and the six zeros in the pack cover both at once. When you set up a party table, stand a zero with another digit behind the cake, leaning on the wall, and it shows up well in photos too.
At a wedding or a big family lunch the zeros also work as table numbers. Six zeros give six tables a round number (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60), once you put the right digit next to each. If the colours do not match the party colours, you can paint them with acrylic paint, which MDF takes well.
They can stay after the party
There is no need to put them away once the day is over. Important years often contain a zero, a wedding year for instance, and a zero fits in a child's room or on a bookshelf among other letters and numbers. Being light, it can go on a wall or a door with a sticky pad. Next year you can bring it out again and simply swap the digit next to it.
Not for a house number
MDF is pressed wood fibreboard that swells with moisture. So do not fix it to a gate, a fence or an outside wall; use it indoors only. Keep it away from the birthday candles, as fibreboard burns, and out of strong sun on a windowsill, where the colour can fade. A dry cloth is enough for dusting.
