Oil obtained by cold pressing the seeds of the skinless pumpkin. It is deep purple in colour, but when poured onto a white plate it should turn a beautiful green. A distinctly aromatic liquid. In addition to its culinary uses, the consumption of shelled pumpkin seed oil is also widespread in folk medicine.
It is extremely rich in unsaturated fatty acids (omega3, omega6):
- which can strengthen the immune system, help treat bladder problems (difficult urination);
- may reduce prostate enlargement and may be important in the prevention of prostate cancer;
