The 5-litre size is the economical choice for busier kitchens, hospitality venues and industrial kitchens where regular, intensive degreasing is a daily task. The Cleaneco cold degreaser and grill cleaner is a strongly alkaline, professional cleaner that dissolves baked-on grease and soot effectively even cold, with no need for heat.
What it is for
It cleans and removes greasy, sooty soiling from surfaces effectively. It can be used on floors, tiles, linoleum and paving, and for heavy degreasing of kitchen utensils, equipment, ovens and extractor hoods. Do not use on ceramic hobs.
Use and dosing
The product is strongly alkaline, so it must only be used with safety goggles and alkali-resistant gloves. Dilute it to match the level of soiling: use a higher concentration for heavier grime. In a spray bottle, apply at 50% dilution for regular use, or neat for occasional, heavy soiling. After degreasing kitchen utensils and equipment, wipe the cleaned surface with plenty of water and remove any remaining chemical.
Composition
Contains: potassium hydroxide. Per Regulation 648/2004/EC: less than 5% non-ionic surfactants, less than 5% EDTA and its salts.
Active ingredients explained
Potassium hydroxide is a strong alkali that saponifies grease, that is, turns it water-soluble, so even stubborn, baked-on grease and soot are easy to remove. The non-ionic surfactants help loosen the soiling.
