The Cleaneco alcohol surface disinfectant in its 1-litre trigger-spray pack is a ready-to-use solution for fast, hygienic disinfection of alcohol-resistant surfaces. The built-in trigger head delivers an even mist, so the disinfectant is applied precisely and economically.
What it is for
It can be used in healthcare, public institutions, schools and households for fast hygienic surface disinfection. The product is a biocidal surface disinfectant classified under product type 2.
Use and dosage
Spray the product evenly onto the alcohol-resistant surface to be treated. Contact time: 1 minute. Because of the high alcohol content, do not apply too much at once: a maximum of 50 ml/m². After treatment there is no need to rinse or wipe the surface.
Composition
Biocidal active substance: (bio)ethyl alcohol. The high alcohol content gives the product its fast disinfecting action and short drying time.
What do the claims mean?
The product is virucidal, meaning it destroys viruses, bactericidal, that is effective against bacteria, and fungicidal, so it also acts against fungi and fungal spores. This combined action makes it suitable for hygienic disinfection.
Safety and warnings
Because of its high alcohol content, the product is flammable. Please observe the following before and after use:
- Highly flammable liquid and vapour.
- Causes serious eye irritation.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. Do not smoke while using it.
- Avoid breathing in mist, vapours or spray.
- If it gets in the eyes: rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do, then continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists, seek medical attention.
- Dispose of the contents and container by handing them to an authorised waste handler or returning them to the supplier.
Storage and good to know
Store the product in a cool, well-ventilated place, away from heat and ignition sources and open flames, and out of reach of children. Use it only on alcohol-resistant surfaces; on sensitive or lacquered surfaces it is best tested first on an inconspicuous area. Thanks to the high alcohol content the product dries quickly and leaves no residue on the surface.
