You get the Neon Stripes pattern here on a large 60 × 60 cm square cover. Bands of pink, orange, turquoise and purple alternate on a light base, and the rows of pink ovals catch the eye straight away.
Its front was woven on a jacquard loom in India, so the stripes are made from the yarns. On the back is plain, natural-coloured fabric with the zip along the edge. You get one cover; the cushion pad is not included.
Upright or lying flat
Because it is square, you decide whether the stripes run across or up and down; just turn the cushion. In the product photo they stand upright, while on the long 30 × 50 cm version they lie flat.
Quiet furniture, bright cushion
A bright surface this size is enough on its own on a grey or beige sofa. If you want to add something, choose a plain cushion in one of the stripe colours, such as turquoise or orange.
A seat cushion for a bench or the floor
A firmer 60 × 60 cm pad turns it into a seat cushion, on a hallway bench or on the living room floor. You will need to buy the cushion pad separately.
How to put the pad in
Open the zip all the way. Fold or roll up the 60 × 60 cm cushion pad, slide it in and let it open out inside. If you push each of the four corners into the corners of the cover, the stripes will run straight.
Stripes show it clearly when the pad has slipped to one side, so smooth the front once more before you close the zip. With a plumper pad, the stripes sit tauter.
