Large interlocking mustard-yellow diamonds line up on a light cream base, each with a smaller diamond in the centre. On the long cushion they run across like a chain. The yellow pattern is woven from thick yarn, so it stands slightly raised from the surface. Overall it measures 30 × 50 cm.
This front was made on a jacquard loom in India. On the back is plain, natural-coloured fabric with a zip along the edge. You get one cover, without a cushion pad.
Grey sofa, yellow cushion
Mustard yellow goes well with grey, beige, cream and brown. Two of these cushions, one in each corner of a grey sofa, are enough to bring colour into the room.
Paired with plain yellow
If you like your cushions to stay in one tone, put the plain yellow Marigold cover next to it. Patterned and plain surfaces then follow each other in turn.
The same diamonds in a square
A 60 × 60 cm version of the Mustard diamond pattern is also available, for the sofa back. If you like the pair in the product photo, the square one goes behind and the long one in front.
Mind the raised yarn
Thick and slightly raised, the yarn that forms the yellow diamonds gives the surface texture rather than leaving it smooth. Because of this, a cat's or dog's claws can catch in it. If your pet also rests on the sofa, it is worth keeping in mind.
Slide the cushion pad in through the zip, folded in half. Let it open out, push the corners into place one by one, then close the zip and plump the cushion up. It needs a 30 × 50 cm pad.
